# Terms of Service

By accessing and using Rowset (the “Service”), you accept and agree to these terms. If you do not
agree to abide by them, do not use the Service.

## 2. Description of Service

Rowset gives AI agents and trusted tools API-backed datasets. The Service includes MCP, REST API,
export, and public-preview features for structured-data workflows.

## 3. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information,
maintain password security, accept responsibility for activity under your account, and notify us
immediately of unauthorized use.

## 4. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to violate laws or regulations, infringe intellectual-property
rights, transmit harmful or malicious code, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or pursue
any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

## 5. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. By using Rowset, you grant us a
limited license to process and store that content to provide the Service. We respect your
intellectual-property rights and expect you to respect ours.

## 6. AI Agents and Connected Tools

You are responsible for agents, tools, and clients you authorize to use Rowset. Review agent
actions before destructive changes and protect API keys, account credentials, and public-preview
links.

## 7. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable unless
otherwise stated. We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

## 8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily
suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

## 9. Privacy

Our [Privacy Policy](https://rowset.lvtd.dev/privacy-policy) also governs your use of the Service and
explains our practices.

## 10. Termination

We may immediately terminate or suspend your account and Service access without prior notice for
conduct we believe violates these terms or harms other users, us, or third parties. You may end
your account at any time through account settings. On termination, your right to use the Service
immediately ceases.

## 11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim express and implied
warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

## 12. Limitation of Liability

Rowset will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

## 13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or
through the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

## 14. Governing Law

These terms are governed and construed under the laws of the state of New Jersey, without regard
to conflict-of-law principles.

## 16. Dispute Resolution

The parties will first try to resolve disputes arising from these terms through good-faith
negotiations. Unresolved disputes may be subject to binding arbitration.

## 17. Export Compliance

You agree to follow applicable export laws and regulations and not use the Service in embargoed
countries or for prohibited purposes.

## 18. Service Limits

Use may be subject to reasonable rate limits and usage quotas that protect reliability for all
users. Excessive use may result in temporary restrictions.
